He wouldn't wear one as a Presidential Candidate but now that he's been elected the new President, do you think he should wear one.....Representing Our Country? He has been wearing a flag pin during the debates, he has since an old veteran gave him one, McCain wasn't though, and I bet you aren't wearing one right now. I'd rather judge a man's patriotism on his actions rather than his jewelry.repubs wear those pins and they kill 4200 US soldiers over a lie.I've seen him wearing one for months and months.
I think the presidency is about more than wearing a stupid pin that was probably made in China. Why do people act like NOT wearing a pin is the equivalent of burning a flag?

Hey Sophie, you are the one lying. Anyone can put something in quotes with no source. Look I can do that too.
"I like to masturbate with turnips"
~ SophieThere are people out there that believe in nothing but symbols, they are what they are, symbols. It does NOT make a person a 'patriot' when they wear a little piece of metal on their lapel; and it doesn't make a person a traitor if they don't wear one.
A patriot is someone who loves the idea of his country, not a facsimile of a piece of cloth. There are people who wear that pin, and really couldn't care less about what it stands for. There are people who say they worship that flag, and yet wouldn't lift a finger to defend it, and what it stands for.
It's pretty obvious who those ones are. Sticking a piece of metal into your lapel is nothing more than a meaningless gesture if you do more to harm your country than you do to make it better.actually he began wearing one and mccain stopped wearing oneMaybe he will make me proud enough to wear mine again too....Why should he have to wear one at all? A piece of metal won't make anyone more patriotic just as not wearing one will make anyone less.
What about the millions of people walking around every day without those pins? Why is this such a big **** deal? Why don't we worry more about the homeless or the wounded soldiers than whining about trivialities? Come on people, this country is in trouble and needs all our support where it counts. Agreed?Sigh...he wore one during the presidential debates. McCain didn't. What does this mean? Absolutely nothing.
Perhaps you'd like to gaze on these shots of Obama wearing a pin.
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...Even if he doesn't it means nothing. Just because you wear some pin, or don't wear it, it doesn't mean you are or aren't a good American. I've seen people who wear crosses who are huge Pharisees and many who don't of whom Jesus would be proud. Wearing something doesn't make you a prime example of whatever it represents, but in some cases it can mean you want people to think you are."I will not wear that pin"
~ Barack Obama
Such a liar. No integrity.
:::Typical liberal class, Elayne. Enough said -- except that if you were the least bit informed about politics, you'd know those were his exact words. He SHOULD wear one, but he probably won't. God help us through the next 4 years!Of Course not. As for McCain not wearing his pin during debates, he has already proved that he is Proud of America, by almost giving his life. Who really cares. Do you wear one? Then shut up.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
