Something special for my mom?

    So, me and my mom used to have a really close relationship but then we ended up getting in a huge fight when I was 15 and I moved to Michigan with my dad. I'm 18 now and recently moved back to Arizona with my mom. We have a good relationship now, but its pretty rocky. I really want to do something special for her. My parents are my two closest friends. My mom works really hard, and rarely gets a chance to relax. I can't really afford something expensive, if I could I wouldn't be asking for help. LOL! Any advice is welcome. Thankyou tons.


  • You could always go get a really nice mom necklace or ring. Those usually aren't that expensive. Take her for a day of pampering. Or you guys could get your portraits done together. I think the best gift is to hand write her a letter explaining how you feel.


  • make her favorite dish at home with a nice desert and a card telling her how much you appreciate her. it'll go a long ways. do all the chores for the weekend for her and go to a nice park for a picnic. very inexpensive ideas but she will really like it i bet. good luck.


  • a 18 year old girl can do many things for her mother and I will list a few.
    Cook
    clean house
    mow yard
    give back rubs
    be cheerful at all times
    prove that you are a well balanced young woman

    If you do some but better yet all of these things she will be overwhelmed by you


  • Buy some cheap manicure kits, some good snacks, a movie with her fav actor in it and just spend time with her. I'm sure she'll appreciate anything you do to show you care and are thinking of her
